About Us

Koios began as a commercial startup in 2015; since 2020 we have been moving to a service role more in harmony with the work we do, and in 2021 we created the Koios Information Corporation, a 501(c)3. We are motivated by a desire to preserve access to public information, primarily by supporting public libraries, where much of that information resides.
